Hire of Equipment & Launching

Access for windsurfing is normally available every Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm although it is still possible to hire at other times

Launching fees: with own equipment. Must have own third party insurance & proof of proficiency in the appropriate discipline.
£5.00 half day
£10.00 all day

Hire of windsurfing equipment including wetsuit:
£15.00 per hour
£35.00 for 3 hours

 

All fees are per person and payable at the time of hire.  

 

All users must adhere to Bear Creek Adventure Ltd & Edgbaston Watersports booking conditions and the Code of Conduct as set out by the RYA & Midland Sailing Club. The decision of the Duty Manager will be final in all matters relating to the site/users. For bookings we require at least 24 hours notice and reserve the right to decline permission.

 

Age Limits - young people under 16 years should be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18 years). The minimum age for attending a windsurfing course is 12 years.

All courses are subject to sufficient numbers and suitable weather conditions and are non-residential.  Non-refundable deposits are required at time of booking and the full amount is payable before the start of the course.

 

Outdoor activities are potentially dangerous activities, all participants must be aware of the risk.
