RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor Course

This course is the first step on to the windsurfing instructor ladder. During the week you will be introduced to teaching with dry land simulators, instructing the basics afloat, on-the-water safety and group control and shore-based activities will include how to run simple theory sessions, the organisation of the windsurfing scheme and sessions on weather, tides, safety and equipment.

 

RYA Start Windsurfing instructors are qualified to teach the Start Windsurfing Course and Stages 1 and 2 of the Youth Windsurfing Scheme under the supervision of a senior instructor.

 

Pre-course experience: minimum age 16, first aid certificate, powerboat level 2 and intermediate non-planing certificate.

£250.00 per person (non-residential)

All courses are subject to sufficient numbers and suitable weather conditions and are non-residential.  Non-refundable deposits are required at time of booking and the full amount is payable before the start of the course.
