Cancellation of Course: Please ensure that you have read the terms on the booking form
Please note: We reserve the right to change/cancel the programmes due to weather conditions. The activities will start promptly, please arrive 10 minutes before the stated time of the activity; it may not be possible for late arrivals to join in the activity.
To book on any of the courses please complete both the booking and health forms and return with full payment to: Unit 1B Hobden Hall Industrial Estate Stoke Prior Bromsgrove Worcestershire B60 4DU It is vital that you provide details of any medical conditions, your swimming ability and emergency contact numbers. During the course you will be required to sign your child in and out each day. Permission must be given to allow your child to sign themselves in and out.
Insurance:
The centre carries Public Liability Insurance and is with the Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme, with Royal Yachting Association and the British Canoe Union approval. We do not offer Personal Accident Insurance.
Certification:
Participants may be awarded ability awards from the Royal Yachting Association and the British Canoe Union where appropriate, additional costs may be involved. Logbooks can also be purchased.
Parents Guide:
Safety is of paramount importance to us and we fully appreciate the concerns of parents/ guardians for their children. Our stringent standards follow Health and Safety guidelines and we never compromise. Our reputation for safety is widely respected in the Outdoor Industry and we invest a significant amount of time and resources in making the centre a safe and secure environment. We take extra special care in recruiting and training our staff to the highest standards. Everyone who joins us is subject to a CRB check and proof of all qualifications is obtained. All our staff are put through an intensive induction training programme before they begin work, the result is a consistently high standard of safety and instructor service.
We provide all safety equipment and clothing plus additional clothing including wetsuits if required.
We do not have lockers for placing valuables in (e.g. phones, MP3/iPod), so please minimise these as much as possible. These items are not permitted on the water.
What to Bring: The following are required for each day of attendance in a suitable bag with all clothing marked with the child’s name. Please be aware that clothes and footwear may get dirty, wet and/or damaged whilst on activities:
- A packed lunch must be provided together with drinks
- Waterproof jacket
- Old trainers/wetsuit boots
- T-shirt and sweatshirt/fleece
- Spare long sleeve jumpers/fleece
- Tracksuit trousers and shorts (no jeans)
- Swim suit/underwear
- Towel
- Suncream and sun hat
- Pen and paper
- Large rubbish bag (to take home wet clothes)
- Complete change of clothes with underwear/socks and footwear to go home in.
