We are proud to announce that Bear Creek Adventure and Edgbaston Watersports have been awarded the LOtC (Learning Outside the Classroom) Quality Badge, for Adventurous Activities. We were the first outdoor adventure centre in the West Midlands area to be awarded this prestigious award.

The team here at Edgbaston Watersports fully understand the importance of getting a group of people working well together, especially if they are to be together for a number of years!  Our activities can teach your group the importance of team work and problem solving, giving everyone a chance to spend time outdoors. You will get to see students in a different environment which is proven to help develop qualities which include self-confidence, empathy, consideration and relationship building with both peers and teachers.Safety is our absolute priority here at Bear Creek Adventure Ltd and Edgbaston Watersports. Staffing:
We choose our staff very carefully for their experience, attitude and personality. All our staff are qualified to National Governing Body standards when available or "in-house trained" for other activities. They are calm, professional and rigorous about safety and certainly know how to get the best out of people, regardless of age or ability. Their experience ensures participants get what they want out of an activity or course whether its confidence, learning, fun, adventure or all of these things! Our staff are patient, give excellent instruction and provide a real challenge. At the same time they are careful to explain, demonstrate, guide and encourage people to accomplish activities and tasks that they thought were beyond them.
The Activity Programme:
 Your programme is tailored according to your needs and objectives and all the activities we offer can be linked to The National Curriculum. We are subject to inspection by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), when our activities are in scope of Licensing. Where they are not, we submit the other activities to the relevant National Governing Bodies standards. We have developed comprehensive safety systems and will be pleased to provide you with a synopsis of our policies, if required. However, we are mindful that fun, excitement and adventure are also vital ingredients of any outdoor activity. Special Needs:
We have many years' experience of working with students with a wide range of special needs. We will work with you to develop a programme that best suits the particular requirements of your group. All our activities can be adapted to the needs of your group, including our specialist disability fleet of boats.
 We offer activities for a half day, whole day and evening sessions. For group sizes ranging from 1 group of 8-10 students to 80 students. If your timetable and budget only allows a half day of activity per person, we suggest splitting your group so we have half the group in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.2010 Prices for Edgbaston Watersports for schools, colleges, universities & youth groups:
Per group of 8-10 participants PLUS 1 free leaders place. £295.00 plus VAT for a whole day with 1 or 2 activities
£180.00 plus VAT for a half day with 1 activity £135.00 plus VAT for an evening after 4pm during the week Includes qualified staff and all safety equipment
