Edgbaston Watersports has offered water based activities at Edgbaston Reservoir since the early 80’s. Early in 2007 Edgbaston Watersports was taken under new management and is now part of Bear Creek Adventure Ltd. The team here at Bear Creek have worked hard to modernise and expand Edgbaston Watersports and are pleased to be able to offer high quality water based activities including sailing, windsurfing, raft building, canoeing, kayaking and powerboating.

The reservoir is located on the Western side of Birmingham city, and is therefore easily accessible from all areas within the city. The reservoir itself is a large expanse of water which was designed by Sir Thomas Telford to provide water for Birmingham’s canal system. All safety equipment is provided by Edgbaston watersports and is checked regularly to keep a high standard as well as boats used on the reservoir.
